Ville Verte by Casa Orascom (“we”, “us”) attaches great importance to the protection of your personal data. This policy explains which data we collect, why we collect it, who processes it on our behalf and how you can exercise your rights. It applies to the website villeverte.sn and to the contacts you have with us by phone, e-mail or WhatsApp.
1. Who we are
Ville Verte by Casa Orascom is a real estate project located on the shores of Lac Rose, Senegal, developed by Casa Orascom, Dakar (Mermoz Pyrotechnie). For any question about your personal data, write to us at vvcasaorascom.marketing@gmail.com or call +221 33 801 67 30.
2. Data we collect
We collect the data you give us voluntarily when you:
- fill in a form on this website (site visit request, consultation request, general inquiry, referral, newsletter sign-up): first name, last name, e-mail address, phone number, country of residence, the type of home you are interested in, your preferred contact method and your message;
- use the budget simulator: country of residence, number of children, currency, income, expenses and savings as you enter them, the resulting monthly capacity, down payment and budget, and the home you select;
- create a client account: first name, e-mail address, phone number and a password (stored only as an irreversible hash), together with the results of your last simulation;
- interact with us on WhatsApp, by phone or by e-mail: the content of the exchanges and the conversation history;
- respond to an advertisement or a form on the Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram).
We also collect aggregated statistics about our advertising campaigns (for example delivery performance), supplied by the platforms concerned, and technical data about your visit to the website (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type), collected through cookies and similar technologies described in section 8.
3. Why we collect it
Your data is used to:
- answer your requests for information about our homes and our neighbourhoods;
- organise site visits and presentation meetings and follow them up;
- show you, once you are signed in, the monthly payments corresponding to your own simulation;
- send you commercial communications by WhatsApp, e-mail or phone, when you have consented to them (newsletter, construction progress, new home releases, events);
- manage our client relationship and improve the quality of our follow-up;
- measure and improve the effectiveness of our website and of our marketing campaigns.
4. Legal basis
We process your data on the basis of your consent, of the pre-contractual steps taken at your request (for example the organisation of a site visit or a quotation) and of our legitimate interest in promoting our homes to the people who have expressed an interest in them.
5. Who processes your data
Your data is accessible only to our sales and marketing teams. To manage our client relationship we use technical providers that process data on our behalf:
- Salesforce (customer relationship management);
- WATI / WhatsApp Business (messaging);
- Meta Platforms (advertising on Facebook and Instagram);
- our own lead management platform, hosted on Netlify, which receives the forms of this website, the simulator results and the client accounts;
- Google (Tag Manager and Analytics) for the audience statistics of the website;
- the hosting provider of this website.
We do not sell or rent your personal data to third parties. Data received through the Meta APIs is used exclusively for the internal follow-up and reporting of our campaigns. Some of these providers are located outside Senegal; they offer guarantees of protection in line with the applicable regulations.
6. How long we keep it
Your data is kept for as long as necessary to handle your request and the commercial relationship, then archived or deleted in accordance with the applicable legal obligations. A client account that has not been used for two years may be closed. You can ask for the deletion of your account or of your data at any time (section 7).
7. Your rights
In accordance with Senegalese law no. 2008-12 of 25 January 2008 on the protection of personal data and, where applicable, with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for people residing in the European Union, you have the following rights:
- the right to access your data;
- the right to have it corrected;
- the right to have it deleted;
- the right to object to its processing, in particular for commercial prospecting purposes;
- the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise these rights, write to us at vvcasaorascom.marketing@gmail.com. You can also unsubscribe from our WhatsApp communications at any time by replying “STOP” to one of our messages, and from our e-mails with the link at the bottom of each message. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Commission de protection des Données Personnelles (CDP) of Senegal.
8. Cookies and audience measurement
This website uses cookies and similar technologies for two purposes: to make the site work (for example to keep you signed in to your client account on your device, or to remember the results of your simulation between two pages) and to measure its audience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. Audience measurement cookies are only set with your consent, which you can give or refuse through the cookie banner and change at any time through your browser settings. Refusing them does not prevent you from using the website.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. Passwords of client accounts are never stored in clear text.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated at any time. The version in force is the one published on this page, with its date of last update.
